Lydia McKee

Articling Student

Lydia is currently an articling student at Paris & Sayer LLP. She brings a unique professional background to her role, shaped by years of frontline healthcare work, team leading, and tribunal experience.

During law school at the University of Windsor, she co-founded the Old and Wise Law Students (OWLS) club, a support network for mature law students. She honed her advocacy skills through competition in the Hicks Morley Moot and contributed academically as a business associate on the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues (WRLSI), later serving as Solicitations Editor.  She supported first-year law students by volunteering as a moot judge during their LRW moot competition.

Before pursuing a law degree Lydia worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric healthcare. She later transitioned to an advocacy role, representing the hospital at Ontario Review Board hearings where she developed her interest in the law.

Outside of the office, she enjoys running, golfing and sewing.
